Until these pink fluorites were discovered in Mexico, Peru and the Alps were the only sources for pink fluorite, and the cost of a specimen such as this was (and still is) astronomical from those localities. This specimen has wonderful deep pink color, nice translucency and sharp, well-defined octahedrons measuring to 1.5 cm.
